Non-Hicas Swap DIY?

Does anyone know where i can look at a DIY or How to for the non hicas swap?

Going to be getting all the parts together by next week and want to install them myself.

there is no DIY write up... its a cake strait foward swap. you will see when you are taking shit apart that oh i will need to do this or that. you drop your subframe put the other one in change the diff and brakes and bla bla bla over your ps pump and you will see once you get into it how the res and cooiling lines have to be changed.
 
i did this, piece of cake. drop your old subframe, cut/plug/bend the hicas lines, transfer over your diff and brakes and shit, throw in new bushings while your on the job, throw the new diff up, make sure everything is tight, use locktite, and change out the pump and done. can be done in a day. took me 6 hours cause we were dickin around.

with jackstands
2-3 jacks not scissor, GOOD JACKS
8mm-36mm sockets
BIG ASS PRY BAR
and a case of beer

it should take 3-4 hours.

So did you need the ps cooler lines? Someone told me that i could you the ones that are already on the subframe now
 
cooler lines. i has no clue what the gay you speak. i did a simple hack job and bam done and driving
 
no you cant use the ones that are on there now that shit would be so sloppy. buy an aftermarkey small oil cooler and run your shit through that.
 
ok so i know you must know what ps stands for which is power steering. On a Non hicas car the ps cooler is the hard metal line that loops around the sub frame from the pump to the rack. In a Hicas car that line is missing like 4 or so inches where the mechanisum that sends PS fluid to the rear ties into that PS cooler line which is just a simple loop. So since i took all that shit out to clean my shit up and just ran My aftermarket PS cooler as if it was the OEM one but Duh I installed that shit on the front of my car.

-subframe w/ all arms
-nh ps pump and resevoir
-1 piece drive shaft

So what else do i need! Mias13 is telling me that i need a ps pressure hose now and devil is telling me that i need ps cooler lines.

Im going to be doing this as soon as i get the subframe spacers.
 
u need to get all power steering lines from a dohc ka24de non-hicas!

the powersteering cooler is part of the lower pressure side of the powersteering system

thats the mother fucking cooling line im talking about.... dont waste your fucking time looking for one... just go to auto zone or some shit and get some little tranny or ps cooler and pipe that shit in and be done with it.

It seems that you and Mias13 were talking about the same thing lol. Im going to be getting one from advance auto parts. Thanks for the help
