i was woundering since i went to the junkyard today and i know the 91-92 nissan stanza are FWD single cams and they use eletric fans. my question is since there single cam can the eletric fans go on the 240 (s13) single cam radiator w/o any modification unlike the altima fans that u have to cut and trim to fit. just wanted to know cuz theres serval at junkyards i go to

ahhh glad someone answered my question.. yeah i heard the sentras work but wasnt sure but didnt know the g20's those are the model that are boxy right?

the g20 is the infiniti version of the sentra. it only came with the us sr20de. i cant remember what they look like but go to the junkyard and if it says infiniti g20 thats you car

all u had to do was search i just felt kind enough to inform and being that u have been a member since 07 and this topic has been covered millions of times all over the net and probably here you should of have known this already no offense

incorrect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u still have to trim the fan shroud to fit!

stop giving incorrect info

thats bull paul cause i just installed a set of g20 fans in my buddy's s13 and they drop right in. the trick is to get it behind the ac lines but they do drop right in. also take off the removable plastic piece on the side

yeah but the stanza hasnt been covered tho.. i know that since there single cam also....

just get the altima fans, if ur going as far as swapping to e-fans a little trimming wont hurt

oh and get a temp controller and relays

well the altima fans at the junkyard are mostly gone so i wanted another alternative from nissan as in another car i could get fans that would work since everyone just gets altima fans and yes i am gonna get that stuff just wanted to know if the stanza will fit up thats all or the g20 or sentra fits as ya tu sabes said

why not save some effort and just get the g20's if you can and if you cant get the altima's. why complicate things more than they have to be

stanza wont fit i already told you. those fans are the same size as the altimas. remember the stanza is basically just a boxy singe cam version of the altima.

rad support on the 240 is something like 27.25 in or 27.5 in the altima fans are just over 28 in. if you wanna confirm that g20 fans fit ask 91_ka26de cuz i installed his g20 fans the other day and they dropped right in. and if you still dont believe go to the junkyard and take the measurements

its not complicating anything, just do the $hit right, and if your worried about complications just keep the fan clutch set up

all that has o be trimed on the altima fans is the lower curved areas

not true. altima fans are just over 28in meaning you have to cut something like .25in to .5in on each side and then cut the two mounting points up top in order to close the hood. I have a set of altimas in my s13 right now and that's how I know.

i'll find out tommorrow at el junko-yard take measurements and let you guys know who's correct here :bigthumbu

If you want some serious air movement get the dual fans from an early to mid 90's V6 Audi 90. The width is almost the same size as the KA or SR radiator but you have to trim the bottom off remove about 2-3" and reweld (plastic weld that is). This bastard blows some serious air, much more than the Altima or G20 fans. If you want a dual fan speed make sure you get the Audi fan resistor and 60Amp relay as well when you get the fans from the junker. You will need a custom dual fan switch if you want to run dual speed setup. There are a couple options to do that. Ask me . surfpac at gmail dot com

In that freshalloy archive thread I was running a 260Z radiator and the Altima fans but ditched that setup when I stated to get holes in the raditor for a Koya and Audi fan setup. The Audi fans look neater and blows more air and I never see temps above 190 even in stop and go traffic in hot summers here.
