My newly made gaming cockpit *UPDATE*
So today, with 30 bucks, bordom, and detirmination to do something creative, I made myself a new cockpit setup for my gaming computer. I dont have a car, so racing sims help me cure my crave to drive, plus the game i play (live for speed), is pretty realistic.
Pretty much to build this, i used what i had laying around the house, plus a peice of plywood i bought from home depot, only costing 30 dollars, and about 4 hours of time.
the only thing i need to get is a racing seat so it feels more real, im using a steel chair and the wheel is jamed between my legs haa, hopefully on monday i can get it finished completly.
almost done...
still almost done (yes, thats a 6 speed shifter)
another side shot
a somewhat action shot
a pic that should be voted for most fanboy pic ever haha
my gaming setup
UPDATE!
i put the racing seat on, and a cheap deep dish i had around the house, adjusted the distance between me and the wheel (i felt like my arms were over stretching just to grab the wheel, letalone flick it), and it came together pretty nicely. im not sure if im gonna try and fit a dashboard on it, or just leave it how it is.
let me know what you guys think!!!
srry for the blurry pic (tryed like 20 times and this was the best one)
