ebay turbo

i had mine on boost at 8 on my ka
it lasted 2 weeks daily driving and it started to smoke and get hell of shaft play
dont waste your time i just got a baller turbonetics t/3 turbo brand new coated hot side for 650 with oil line kit just look for deals dude you will regret ebay bullshit

well all tose parts are super legit but are going to do noting with a ebay turbo
i got my turbonetics brand new with oil line for 650 and it was ceramic coated all was brand new just gotta find the deals
 
its probably made in china which means it may or may not work. luck of the draw with those parts.
 
why would you spend money on the other shit instead of getting a real turbo that is retarded lol

i had a friend who had an xspower ebay turbo. shaftplay and oil leak like a mofo.
he got a new one and so i took that one apart. the thrust bearing was ground to shit, but the main problem was they didnt install the correct oil seals, it seemed like they were for another turbo. i say get your hands on a used garret or turbonetics, then rebuild it with a kit from gpopshop for $120. best bang for buck and super easy to rebuild.

if you are spending 3k$ on a high mileage motor why dont you just buy a jdm motor swap?

like what, sr i dont like, rb is super tight in the s13 and i like being able to work on my car, i originally was going for a ls1 then settled for a 302 but after putting down prices both are a nutt load of money and require extensive modification to everything

common sense should tell you that 1800$ SR >>>>>>>>>>> SOHC Turbo.

there was a reason why nissan changed it after only 2years
 
common sense does tell me sr, but the prob i see is if i blow a $2000 sr i cant just pull off the turbo stuff and slap it on another sr cause they dont go for $150
 
ive never blown a SR in the last 5years of driving them.. ive only seen Juan blow 2 and I doubt you will put your motor thru anything what he does. so that leads me to the conclusion that people who blow their motors are careless/stupid and dont know what preventive maintenance is
