sc400 auto to mannual

i need help with the transmission the guy says its a w58 but it looks like a r154 i need help i dont know wich one to buy and also a drive shaft for a s300 mannual or an alumminum one would be nice if u know where i can get one heres the link for the pics of the transmission

either trans will work, you'll need a custom bracket to make them work on the 1uz. the w58 is aight, the r154 is better, stronger, but heavier and bigger. there are alot of forums with great info, supraforums, my.is, toyotacressida.net. if you get the w58 make sure you get the one with the steel center plate. theres a great deal on r154 in the forsale section.

well am actually going twin turbo v8 like 10 psi is what am looking for but where can i get a driveshaft for it

if ur asking ur plans are horriably flawed

i could be wrong but, it would seem a five speed sc300 driveshaft might work? that's the easy part, get a custom one made if you need to. if you're turboing the 1uz, you gotta do a r154, the w58 is a good tranny, but people say in doesn't hold that much torque. toyota never put it on a turbo motor, so it's apparently not as strong.
