why do you need them labeled? why dont you just plug them all back in where they go?? its easy they only plug to the plugs they belong to. the big fuse block goes on the driver side and you can sort the rest out from there.

dude no way! great idea. now.. tell me where to plug them in:

if anyone else wants to give some useful info that would be nice. im trying to eliminate all the wiring i dont need. i only need power doors, gauge cluster, lights, wipers. i want to get rid of all the wiring for everything else. i've already done some but i need these plugs labeled so i can get rid of them or not

seriously? you dont know which connectors go to which?? there is only like 6 things that go there, you have glove box light, a/c controls, a/c system, radio, cig lighter, ebrake, and center console light.

the ones right above the steering wheel are obvious, controls your lights hazards wipers cluster etc.

why are you removing them? instead of risking shorting your harness and ecu out why dont you just wrap all the unused connectors with electrical tape ... unless you are trying to save weight? lol

i have my steering column wires labeled already. i really only need to know which plugs go to the buttons by the steering wheel like hazard lights.. cuz i know without that the turn signals wont work. idk what the other buttons are cuz they weren't in the car. once i know that i'll know which are left over for ac, radio, etc.

its a project/drift car/saving weight thing. idk everything about wiring a car so im teaching myself. the same way i've learned everything else about my cars. just need a little help on identifying these plugs.

sorry but no one here is gonna spoon feed you the answers!

do yourself a favor and go download the FSM(factory service manual)

it has pictures, just incase u cant read, it will show u where each plug goes, the wiring for them, pinouts, etc. everything u will need to know to figure out where the plug goes. stop being lazy and research it.

i'v been researching this was my last resort.. if you think about it.. it is easier to research than to take pictures.upload pictures. host pictures, post them and have all these pointess conversations. i think google is easier which was my first choice. it doesn't help much when the plugs are not in their repected positions does it? and i already have the fsm but again the diagrams tell you what they are when they're in place. mine are not in place.

it would take someone 2 minutes to label these pictures if they had experience. you obviously dont so go away

you dont have any of the dash buttons??? like the hazards or headlight return ??? the ones that are over your transmission tunnel are for the ebrake, cig lighter, light for the center console... if you have your gauge cluster harness, 3 plugs, plug them in, all the rest of the stuff to the right is mainly a/c (usually blue) and radio stuff and the plug for the light in the glove box. one of the ones that are covered with the lil rubberplastic cover shit(might be black) goes to the wipers. hard to tell you exactly what every single one is without having a car to look at and double check, just giving you the best i can by memory.

wtf is wrong with you?

why do u refuse the help your asking for?

i already explained it, the fsm shows u the connector end, how many prongs and what wires run to and from that connector. that alone will allow u to identif the connector and what it goes to.

kid if you can manage to do that then you shouldnt be mess around with cars.

also taken some shit pics of a chassis harness and expecting someone to guess at where a plug goes is a fucking joke.

NO ONE HERE IS GONNA HELP YOUR LAZY ASS

open the fsm and figure it out like everyone eles

or

like explained before aswell, lay the harness across the dash bar and "TRY" to plug shit together. if it fits guess what? IT CORRECT! if it doesnt try another one!

serious kid stop bein lazy and do work

bro.. if i had things to plug them into i would.. if u look at the pic.. i have the blinker switch plugged in. so i know where that plug goes. thats all i have to plug in. so i cant try your 'fit it in the hole' methods.

i took the other picture to show you that i dont have anything in the car to try plugging things into.

i looked at the fsm and i couldnt find many descent pictures of plugs themselves and the amount of pins/shapes/etc

i'll keep looking but i still think it would be easier for someone that already knows where they go to tell me..

well I can honestly say that I dont think anyone here knows what they go to unless they have their shit apart too but I wish you goodluck. put it this way, if your power windows are plugged in, and your wipers, and your hazard switch, just get your cluster plugged in and delete all the other wires

I do. But I'll label it for a price. :)

ok people.. all i need is a picture of the plugs for the buttons near the steering column. if someone can do that for me that would be awesome.
