stuck lifter

alright i got a stuck lifter on my sohc, it seems to bleed out when it sits and after i drive it for a while it colapses again and sound like a fucking tractor(its super loud) ive read the article on nico but i really dont want to take that shit apart, What can i do to free the lifter without having to tear shit down and replace it?????

on my probe you had to replace it and you didnt have to take the cam out just the one rocker. it was like 33 bucks and that seafoam shit worked for my other car.

i know the cam doesnt need to come out but my spare head with the parts i need is like 45min away, each way and i really dont want to drive that far cause the problem keeps getting worse and worse and i drove hella far yesterday

if you drive to far it will leave scrapes in your cam

yes indeed that really does work, when my vtc started knocking i thought that was the problem so a friend of mine thats a mechanic told me to pour in 1 qt of atf in with the oil an it'll fix that
