What are some cheap inexpensive mods i can do to my s14 while i recover from my debt.?!?

i really wanted to clean up my engine bay some cus it looks so sloppy..
 
yea the intake headers and exhaust requires money which im not spending. Shitt..i got over 400 dollars to pay in tickets alone so i was thinking more along the lines of 10 or 20 bucks.

on a serious note, there r no cheap/free mods save ur money and just buy stuff when u can afford it
 
remove weight is always good but it depends on how far your willing to go, bump the timing up a little is pretty easy, get some purple power and clean that engine bay, and a some new plugs never hurt anybody.
 
ditto, weight removal, DYO ground wires, engine management/ cleaning( well that goes for the whole car)

and you can also do ppl favors in exchange for parts. just try to do a service that ppl need, like in my case help ppl with computer shit
 
eliminate un-needed vacuum hoses, get an intake, re-route battery to rear, break the tack welds holding the battery tray..
total of less than 15 dollars, if you get a battery box, it'll be 10 dollars more.. depending one what you use
 
i wouldn't waste any money on ebay junk. ive seen people bring those things in the shop welds blown out from header to exhaust. plus the fit usually sucks... just save your money, buy gas and enjoy the car. you can eliminate all your emissions crap and egr block off plate if you want couldnt cost more that a few bucks to make. that would de clutter your engine a lot. move you battery to the back wont be too expensive...not 10-20 bux but cheap mod considering. do some searches on the emissions stuff theres tons of info out there. good luck.

1) Advance your timing just a little bit. Do research to not damage anything FREE
2) Weight reduction FREE
3) Battery relocation $20 to $30
4) Tune up $20 to $40
5) Remove emissions and plug vacuums $10
6) Seafoam $10 to $15

Thats what I can think of and most people have said the same.
 
emissions delete, make a shorty intake, relocate your battery and remove tray, gut the fuck out of your car, remove your cat and replace with a test pipe. You need some fab skills to make a intake and test pipe. but its worth it

why must you spend the 20 bucks?
theres nothing worth getting
 
priorities. pay your tickets and then u can worry about modding your car. otherwise we will see your car for sale soon and it will say something like "gotta sell it to pay tickets etc"
