removing front collars d2 coils s13 question

ok i know wht to do but the problem is when i try and take the bottom piece off to remove the collar, its doesnt budge. im going the right way to loosen(threaded) and its not budging. i cut the shit out of my thumb from holding the coilover(threaded part). is there a trick or something? lmk

dont take your collars off... its a sign from god not to do it, get some wheels and dont try to tuck stock se's....

i used wd 40 also but its not budging. shit pissed me off so i decided to give up
