it is vålerbanen, one of the stops for the gatebil series. same track seen in the drift monkey videos.

When I said bilsport I meant gatebil actually, and I keep forgetting youre in Norway not Sweden. By the way, I'll be over that way in late July-Aug, you coming back before then? Rally Finland starts on 29 July I think, I might try and pop up there from Germany for the weekend... LMK

Nothing wrong with corporations supporting something, the main difference in Europe is that motorsports are recognized as legitimate SPORT, and people have more disposable income to attend events which helps grow the sport from grassroots.

Also its not such a battle to hold a damn event and you will get tons of spectators because its cheap, people are interested in cars/bikes in general and also insurance is low because people in EU take responsibility for their actions. If you get hit by a car at a motorsports event, it's YOUR fault, and people there understand this. It's not the driver fault.

Just like if you slip at wal-mart and bust your head, its your fault, shouldnt be able to sue walmart. Just listened to 2 people I know the other day talking about how they would sue this n that if they got hurt there... I just thought to myself 'i cant wait til im out of this place'

Yeah, Gatebil is the main events in Norway, they have events all throughout the summer months at different tracks and people just have a good time.

i actually wont be in europe at all this summer, im too busy with work and school, ive been wanting to check out the neste rally forever though, maybe next summer. what are you doing in germany? just hanging out?
