xbox 360 red ring fix

i got the red ring on my xbox and was asking my techy friend about it and he sent me to this

just throwing it up here for people who are out of warranty and have the red ring. my buddy used it on his and says its worked perfectly since. i plan on doing it the next time the ring comes up

yea i just ordered the kit. i went to homedepot and radioshack to check prices. its much cheaper buying the kit

lol ^ just did this last night, works like a charmmmm. took me like an hour because it was my first time trying it, but it works great!. i went ahead and upgraded my GPU with one from a 360 elite (got it off ebay. $15), and upgraded my fans. but no more red ring, and no more freezing up!
