ls7 is a small block 427 dry sump motor, as compared to ls1 which is a 3.89in bore, or ls3 which is a 4.00in bore with regular oil pan set ups.


now question of the day, i want to see money to HP set up compared between a LS motor and a 2J

now he definitely spent alot more then u would on a 2j with a getrag 6 spd and boost... BUT the motor is extremely lightweight, and INSTANT power, where as with a 2j, u need boost. Most dudes are going v8 for the instant torque, and lack of shit going wrong. its a reliable NA, u can hotlap the shit out of it where as with a 2j, its boost, and shit can and will go wrong...and I LOVE 2j's.

The only reason they put him on "Team Need for Speed" was because he was "a true grassroots drifter." Basically because he fiberglassed shit back together and didn't have a crazy swap. I don't care what he does, I'm just saying the reason he's where he is period is BECAUSE he had a KA-T.
