Course Layout for Desoto

I'm looking for some input on a course layout for the next Desoto practice. So, give me some ideas...

Here are some guidelines:
1. Course should be about the same for advanced and beginner, with an additional section (maybe bank and or something more technical) for advanced. I don't want to have to change the course or have separate run groups.
2. Staging needs to stay off track and in the staging area. So, consider that when thinking about where the cars would start.

^ Are you insinuating that the grammar in my sentence is incorrect? If so, how should it be written? Seriously, I went to Florida State...so I could still be drunk. lol
 
I think he was pointing out that you stated cars cannot be staged on track, and cars were staged on track at the last comp. Am I right?

Also, that course looked fun, and I'd say do that and just stage the cars off track.
 
I see. The reason I said that.... when we do a comp, I get lots of people to work for me. On these practice days, I don't. Staging on the track takes more "staff". And, I just want a chill practice day... where I can drive too.

So, Jeremy, you liked the last competition course?
 
Yeah I thought it was cool. It would work good to stage the cars off track too, because the advanced guys can get a run at the bank turn.
 
Yea Jen I was aimed at Dayron because the cars staged on the track for the last comp.
And Jeremy's Idea is perfect I'd say...thats the track layout but advanced gets to hit that bank before running it.
 
I figure I should post here too. Bonus points if you can nail the 360 exactly how it's pictured

David, going from the infield back out onto the bank sucks because it's so slow and takes either a million horsepower to accelerate on the bank, or really crappy tires. It's way more fun to have the bank be the first turn and optional. You can get way more speed going into it, and cars with a lot less horsepower can make it around it.
 
How about instead of advanced class doing the bank right after, they could just do a lap around the bank first then enter at the normal start? I dunno just an idea.
