i had an e30 with a sachs stage 2 or 3, cant remember... but it never slipped on me once... it would chatter a little if i slipped a little too long taking off, didnt like slipping lol..... but the damn thing didnt slip once while sliding, hard clutch kicks, hard launches....

if there is no rev limiter, its an automatic ECU, its been covered many times... 99% of the time, this is the issue. get another ECU that you know is from a manual 240sx and has a rev limiter and try it....

dude, 2200lbs is really light. there are very, and i mean very, few cars thats weigh 1800lbs unless they are completely stripped. most cars these days weigh over 3000lbs. i mean shit the s2000 curb weight is 2,835lbs and curb weight of a 1999 miata is 2,299lbs

basically, if you have power get a j30. a j30 isnt going to lock for a stock ka because it can barely spin the tires. it takes power to get a j30 to lock. so if you have a stock ka, get a welded...
