idk the last motor he had when he blew the head gasket it did that and he only had a pinsize hole in it and it still shot up the fluid a little out the cap. to op just pull the thermostat out anddrive it and see what happens.

if you can put it in gear when the caris off and turn it on n the car moves then sounds like your clutch. cause mine did that when i put a different clutch and didnt notice that it was pressed against the pressure plate
