ok bt u cant compare it to a guage thats different from urs.. if u see the starting point is 140- 280.
edit: all this guage talk and i sireously think. ur problem is not the gauge.
it means someone didnt have one color wires so they used mixed ones! lolz jp
bt on a sireous note.. trace them? the red/white? some type of power? one of the black/? ground? the rest idk
ive been searching all around and found ka w same problems. and ppl solved the problem by cleaning the MAF.
also by spraying fluid threw the egr lines and rev
or cleaning the IAVC
try to start it with the dizzy loose. and once it starts move it all the way back.. and it should stay running. then move it forward a lil bit untill u hear it running OK. take it for a test drive if needed more adjusting. then adjust.
