You loose a day going to japan and you gain a day coming back. So therefore you will be there in japan for 14 days. But it will be 15 days of travel time. So we will leave here saturday arrive sunday and stay for the 14 days.

If the mitsubishi and the hitachi are for the single cam. It could have been that the mitsubishi was made as a oem replacement part.

If it's for single or dual and they are the same type of distributor then yeah it's the same. One was probably repalced as a aftermarket/oem type ditributor.
