    sounds like your mafs start at the mafs connector and make sure the wires have good connection, then work your way to the ECU.. it uses the signal wire, ground, and ecu ground..shouldn't be too much to check if that's the issue..i'm almost positive start the car and rev it from the throttle...

    I was doing some reading and I read that the s13 and s14 heads are interchangeable. Although this is true..an s13 head will need the s13 valcover on your s14 block..or vice versa..14 head/vc on s13 block. Being that you didn't by the SR yourself..you don't know exactly what...

    just a simple sugestion..i dont know if you did this but inspect the bottom of the valve cover for any wear or metal rub s13 heads w/ s 14 valve covers have different clearances...or vice versa

    yea..it's definatley the head.. Aint nothing to it but to do it!
