clutches???

i want some opinions on mis-matched clutches. Like having a high-perf pressure plate, and a stock clutch disc, or the other way around.

Would it be really bad, wat would u prefer if u didn't have the money to buy it all? Wat effects do u think it would have?
 
i heard that a xtreme pressure plate with a good condition stock disc works best, doesnt **** up the stock flywheel
 
i got a stage one competition clutch with a 6 spuck unsprung disc and it works wonders for my miata....and i clutch kick my life away and i havent felt any slippin yet....and i have had it for close to 10 months now.
 
I dont think ur gonna have a flywheel left when that thing is done!

anyways I ended up putting an act 6 puck sprung( I hate traffic ), a new release bearing, I had to use the same pressure plate that was on the engine( since god knows when ) and to finish it off A NEW NISMO clutch pivot.

I broke my second pivot(dont know exactly when). **** For all u guys with s13's and strong clutches, get a nismo pivot cause u will need it eventually. THE damn looks strong.
