Hey guys! I am hosting a charity car show for New Hope for Kids in Winter Park, FL. By starting this event I hope that I can link the car community with local charities in order to give back to our community. This is the first event of its kind and hope that we can come together to support those who dedicated their lives to helping children and families.
I would love to see some local drifters come and represent!
Parked for Hope is an opportunity for car enthusiasts to share their love for automobiles while also contributing to a great cause. We hope to link our love for cars with giving back to the Central Florida community.
Our first event will be for the Wishes for Kids program by New Hope for Kids. New Hope for Kids's Wish Program grants approximately 50 wishes annually to children that have terminal or life-threatening illnesses. New Hope for Kids is not affiliated with any national organization. It is an independent, locally based charity that focuses on Central Florida children. By being a part of this event, you are truly giving back to the Central Florida community.
For this event, we are working to help grant the wish of 5-year old Natalia from Deltona, FL who was born with a life-threatening condition called Spina Bifida. Natalia wants to go on a Disney cruise with her family. We are raising money in hopes of helping to grant this wish. Your money will not only go towards helping Natalia receive her wish, but also to other children with life-threatening illnesses who hope to experience a once-in-a-lifetime wish.
In order to raise money for this event, we require a minimum donation of $15 for parking spots. This will also come with 2 raffle tickets for prizes. We have over 50 parking spots available to those looking to showcase their cars (RSVP at our website) but early registration will ensure your spot. Group reservations are also welcome! Vendors and other companies may also set up for $30 also by filling out the RSVP form on our website. Vendors will be provided a table and two parking spaces to set up a booth and park a car. We will have live music, raffles, and food available on the premises. If you're interested in becoming a sponsor to help out in any way, please get in touch with us!
This event is FREE for attendees, but to park at the venue you will have to pay the $15 minimum donation. With very little overhead and NO intention for profits we are donating ALL of the money to charity. I'm doing this as part of a school program and have no reason to try to pocket anything. We are lucky to have the venue and everything else donated to us and would like to keep it that way to be as effective as possible. Thank you all for your support!
