doesn't matter if Doug VanDenBrink wins his license because he won't take it, he will stay in pro-am and pick on people with an FD spec car

Yeah, people that complain about Doug driving pro am are stupid.
I just dont get the point of him driving pro-am, if he isn't planning on going pro. Wouldn't just driving XDC make more sense?

just want to point out that doug and I have faced off four times this year (every round). We are 2-2 in the battles now. Besides losing to me, the only other battles he lost was when he spun out. He has yet to spin vs me.
Bring on the bigger fish.
If you can't beat Doug than you have NO HOPE in the pro's anyway. Honestly if anything, guys like Doug elevate the pro-am level and better prepare the Southeast Pro-Amer's for the pros when they make it.
Eh, idk how Doug is really preparing these guys for the Pros, I mean Pat and Lowe has said a bunch how Pro-am is nothing like FD so I doubt it makes a difference if Doug is there or not.
Im just curious about the idea of "Pro-am"? Is it a series made for people to get a pro license to go to FD or is it just another series that just so happens to give out pro licenses for FD?
But, yeah im not a driver or anything like that im just curious on that subject.
Well, my only input is that there are some guys that could use that license for more than staying pro-am level.
now most will argue, well if they cant beat doug they dont deserve the license; I see your point, but who says doug isnt pro level?
This is the whole reason we have classes isn't it? maybe Im wrong, thats just going off what I know and been taught about racing in general.
