2012 Xtreme Drift Circuit Round 3 at CFRC [RESULTS]

As the sun sets right now in Florida it puts Round 3 of the Xtreme Drift Circuit in the books closing out one fun event at Central Florida Racing Complex. It was some of the best tandem battles XDC has ever seen and a great crowd of spectators. Some Formula Drift drivers including Jeremy Lowe, Chelsea DeNofa, and Patrick Goodin all showed up to compete over the weekend. Here is how the top four stacked up:

1. Chelsea DeNofa
2. Nate Hamilton
3. Jeremy Lowe
4. Will Parsons

All the drivers handled the course well, big shout out to Chelsea,Nate Jeremy,Will and Kelsey,the CFRC track personel did a good job as well.
As for the HIN Crew I give them two thumbs DOWN.No re-entry is just ridiculous.
And one place to purchase drinks and food is also ridiculous
How can you be the sole source refreshment vendor and run out of all drinks on a hot ass day.Seems simple to understand that that could happen but when you stand in a Fu*knin line for 45 minuites to get a bottle of water and then they sell out of the shit
 
i left and came back no problem but yeah that food line is why i left. 1 hour in line for 2 bottles of water and they only took exact change for that line...total is 4 dollars and i got 20 bills....u fuckin serious right now? lol. publix saved my life
 
Judging and organization was atrocious. If it wasn't for like 4 rad drivers, the entire event would have been a fiasco.

I overheard that the track owner also owns the ONLY food stand there. But don't quote me on that. Monopoly at it's finest.
 
I want to congratulate my friends Kelsey, Beiber, and Mensah. You guys are great and are my new drift heroes. You did great keeping up with the big boys. Especially beiber and kelsey with having only 300ish whp.

Not true, the concessions are rented out.

so.... me and nate get a OMT called.

he leads spins at first clip and i avoid him (though i was gettng a little understeer before that... he spun). i returned to start and lined up. i lead... safe but solid clean run. NATE MOVES ON.

apparently, when he spun, I was supposed to go around him and drive (not even drift, just cruise) through the course. because i didn't- they said "you abandoned the course so you get no score/advantage".

its a skid pad, not like i went reverse track, i just crossed through the chalk, if I had just turned left and made a uturn, I would have won.

even Nate didn't like the call, and I respect that he owned up, but he got into my top4 spot.

That's a dumb call. I would've commended you for not taking up more of the tracks time.

The faster I could get the event done, the more time I'll have at Applebee's!
 
They also said he had and AMAZING follow run on you... lol. When in reality he overshot you and had to make a correction. That is cool of him to come to you and say you should have had it though. Either way man keep doing work! :driving:
