The V8 car sneak peak we showed earlier was in fact Bill Sherman’s Formula Drift Road Atlanta beast. He is at the event today getting ready to compete in this newly built 240. Enjuku has brought some sponsors over like Cooper Tires, Retaks, and SPEC Clutch to help support the program. Good luck to Bill this weekend.

Well because of the cam we are having a bit of an issue with the power tapering down in the higher rpm's causing the car to grip.. But well find out if we made it to top 32 in a few minutes

Sad to hear you guys didnt make it.. Car looked solid, but you can tell where the power tappered off, especially i believe on Bills first qualifying run, when the car bogged at the top of the horseshoe, but the car looks and sounds awesome, hopefully some good comes for you guys this season! Keep up the good work!

Seeing that the car was built in a month and it was only bills second time ever driving the car we were pretty happy with the fact that the car passed tech with ease, didn't break down or have any major issues, or have any over heating which has been a problem in the past.

when you say the power tapers off what are we talking here, 100lb ft of tq or something, because an ls1 with a 120 cub in screw superchargers should put out well in to the 550s.....

Well I don't really know what the problem is but I have never heard a supercharged V8 car clutch kick 4 times coming out of the horseshoe. It really looked like the car just ran out of puff right where you needed it. Something is really wrong, bills driving was on point the car just couldnt keep them spinning.

there were a few high powered cars having to clutch kick the horseshoe
the motors sounded weak like a na ka idk maybe it was just me

Car made mid 4's. It's only on 6 psi. Bills spinnin that thing to 6 down the straight outta the horseshoe. The stock cam just can't keep up. It's an all the way stock motor with arp rod bolts, and a big ol super charger.

exactly.. the overlap on the stock cam is made for NA.. up in the higher rpms the power just isnt there.. and it starts to grip..
but we plan to do heads,cam,8lb pulley and retune.
