Bmw Vs Nissan

The funny thing is, I bet I'm the only one here that's actually driven an R32 GTR, R33 GTR, R34 GTR, E36 M3, and E46 M3. I need some 350z seat time. :(

not doubting you but where did you drive those gtr's? In the US?

Yeah, in the US. Port Everglades. I drove GTRs (more 33's than anything), Evos (mostly 4's), Impreza's (never an STi strangely enough), Type-R civics (amazing fun), Type-R Integras (overweight civic), weird dump trucks, and pretty much every other vehicle made in Japan in the 90's...all on a giant plot of asphault where nobody says a word about what you're doing. None were "imported" but they were "in transit" at the time...just sitting on the docks waiting to be sold. :D

well... zak use to work for drag international so he prolly drove all those cars too so dont think you are the only special one lol

Well, doing some research I found that both the M3 and the GT-R cost about the same in their own market origin. When they're brought over to other markets, price increase is based on import/export cost.

to make this thread somewhat interesting, why not BMW vs Infinity, a little more realistic...

Compare their vehicles performance or their companies performance?

why is all this time and effort put into arguing over cars non of us can afford LOLOLOL

Dood i wish i could have had more time with those cars. The only times I'd get to drive them was when they had to be moved around (like if a storm was coming or a huge shipment and they wanted all the cars inside)...and being able to play with them was my pay.

Im sorry but BMW FTW M3's are the whole package Looks, performance, they are comfertable handle awesome and you'll pick up higher class chicks in a BMW then some punk looking skyline lol

Plus since we are talking about GTR's im not all much into owning a AWD car, plus ryhs millin and Alex P. did a comparo in car and driver which out of the 10 current prduction cars out today were the best to drift with and gues what car won BMW M3 the 350Z Got 3rd after OMG OMG guess what a GTO!!!!! yes so does that mean that GM is better than Nissan..... HELL NO!

.

i didn't know that the GTR was tested for that comparo....hhhhmmmm did they test the evo and sti also?

They didnt test AWD cars

I was talking about the whole 350z thing that undercontrol was babbling about

Plus the GTR wasnt on the market when the article was written last year.

This is America and in America a Skyline of similar years is roughly 2x as much money...that's $45k you can spend on your M3 now. Wow.

same as what we are discussing here with Nissan... except, infinity. just seems like nissan cant compare to Bmw, obviously. not sure infinity could either, tho they called the M35/45 'the most technologically advanced sport sedan' or some shit.

interesting, tho as has been stated, aftermarket for M's isnt too strong, therefore expensive, and hp is easily gained in a GTR, making it track friendly, IMO.

Wasn't the RB26 developed in germany, who specializes in that straight six kind of thing of sorts? oh well... petty piston engines.

lol @ u.

didnt u hitnrun against a pole or someshyt? :bigthumbu

15k budget...

Motor = 5k turbonetics turbo kit. throw in another 1k on tunning and misc parts

Suspension = u have about 9k to play with.... Coilovers, sway bars, bushings, arms, lsd, cage, brakes, etc...

hmm... is that enough? :bigthumbu

I hit a sign, not a pole. I could careless everyday people like you laughing at me anyways because they have no idea what kind of driver I am or what I was doing.

Im glad you have every thing figured out to build a superior car.

I don't know if I would call the M35/45 'the most technologically advanced sport sedan'. Right now I don't think theres a company that offers a system that can topple BMW's I-Drive.

BMW > Infiniti when comparing both companies performance in the market.

I think a good comparison would be the G35 vs. the 3-series or the M35/45 vs. the 5-series.
