well every timbre has a harmonic and produces a pitch, and yes you can tune a drumset, but you don't play notes on one. come on now you knew what i meant.

yes i know what you mean but many solo drummers tune their drums to actual notes like terry bozio he has 4 -5 different kick drums all different dimensions to create different notes and when he plays the drums it is a song not a rhythm. but yeh i know what you mean.
