**If you don’t pass tech; you don’t drive**

EVENT:This event will appeal to both beginner, and advanced drifters. The low grip surface will keep speeds and risk low and no-longer make horsepower a requirement! This will boost the “first timers” confidence while also giving the advance drifters a place to perfect a new technique and have some fun. Maybe you’ve been thinking of trying tandem? You will be drifting on almost 3 miles of compressed lime-rock roads once used as aircraft taxiways. While the roads are very smooth (like the one pictured above which is from this venue); the dusty surface means ZERO tire wear. This primarily a practice event; however, if you do need help there will be instructors available who will be happy give you some pointers.

DISCLAIMER:
Any person or persons engaging in an unsafe or inappropriate behavior on or off the track as deemed by the event organizers, track officials, and/or venue, will not be tolerated. Failure to follow any of the rules will result in such individuals being removed from the premises without refund and depending on the severity of the incident, banishment from any Drift-Clinic events.
Drift-Clinic may revise event details, rules, schedule, and/or any other related information at any time with or without notice at any time by updating the http://www.driftclinic.com website. Very true! but a few people wanted it (and I made sure to Get really good insurance so I'm coverd )

Most people will not want to tandem. But, if you stay within a few car lengths it no worse than tire smoke. Get to far back and it gets pretty thick.

Begginers like the low speed when first getting close to another car. Its very confidence inspiring. But If the dust gets to bad we will just decide not to tandem. Its still the most fun you can have on four wheels. Because of the courses length keep a few cars going at a time so runs will not be an issue.

Man I want to do this, Plus I live the closest to the track than anyone here. :p

My buddy is gonna go in his truck

My car is kinda messed up transmission wise so if anyone will let me drive their car at this event I will give you a pair of almost brand new Michelin Pilot Premacys 245/40/17's and a pair of 30% 245/40/17 yokohamma ES100's

whens the next event on a real concert pad not dirt?

It all depends on the #'s we see here. I don't know why exactly. But the owner of the track want's us to do a smooth event on this setup before we can use the new track.

A lot has been added to this since these were taken. But, it will give you an idea of the size of the property. this is part of the course for Dirty-Drift.

Last time we camped there we had a cook-out the night before with a few other groups. Burgers, beer, and fellow drifters. LMK

whats the deal with media? ive been wanting to hit up the track before, but it being a rally setup and over 3 miles you said, how is that going to work out? or rather what is the track itself allowing?

You would have to register as a driver $75 or come as someones crew member for $5. There is no designated spectator area for insurance reasons; but, there is a place near the starting line where you could stand on a raised hill that is between 2 different turns of the track.
This really isnt a media freindly event. When we run the new track it will be.
