i been taking everyones advice and i can spell however i want man lol i basically ask everyone to learn from everyone elses mistakes i been considering the ls1 swap because i been talkin to guys whove done it on sites like ls1.com and ls1tech.com and my friend with a zo6 says he can do it. ive been drifting my s13 on open diff for about a year now open diff sux ass

Spelling issues aside... you know, commas and periods and shit aren't just for fun. They're actually useful too. They give people hints as to what the hell you're trying to say. Apostrophes are surprisingly helpful as well.

My vote would be for a stock S13. If you've (there goes that apostrophe again, useful little bastard) got money to blow, get the S13 up to factory spec, then stiffen up the suspension and add an LSD.

300 rwhp should be sufficient for a small drift car. anything above 350rwhp+ is excessive.

buy all the multi link that spl sells, some subframe and steering rack bushings...(you said you have lsd??), strut/sway bars and coilovers...done. power is just for fun, the things i mentioned b4 will actually help you get sideways, or more sideways for longer... think of it this way... people have earned a formula D liscence with stock KA and FULL suspenion. i dont know of anyone who has earned one with a motorswap or tons of power and stock, partial or cheap suspension.

I 100% agree on suspension first. It doesn't include only drifting but all other motorsports. You're car won't be as fun if it'll handle like shit.

I've seen 16 year olds that couldnt drive get Formula D licenses :laugh: Clearly its not the car (or the driver) that makes it in Formula D.

John is a motherfucking bad ass driver. Lowest hp car of that weekend for sure, and he was still killing it. That guy is gonna make a huge impact in Formula D this year. The little hachi that fucking owned.

As for what car you should get, I'd say get an S14, do suspension, LSD, maybe a bucket seat, and start practicing. S14s are very easy to learn to drift in. Now, don't think just because you have an S14, you are now the drift king. Drifting is still hard to do no matter what car you drive. lol.
