yeah im in afganistan now, its not actually as bad as I thought. Im in a dorm room that has a/c and i have internet in my room now. not too bad.
 
^^^thas because ur in the Air Force....We Marines are in the front. Dorm room? Whats that? AC? unheard of...LMAO

amen to that, I know where I belong in the rear with the gear. Although its not like my job isnt dangerous but yeah I have a much much much less chance of being killed by an enemy and more chance of blowing up half of our own base. Since I work with literately tones of explosives everyday.

so yeah we had a rocket attack on base last night, fucking things whizzed right over us. We had 24, 500 lb bombs with fuzes in them being built on the pad. Holy fuck that could have been bad.
 
^^^how you holding up over there? Totally different war than Iraq I tell you that...these guys are a lil more ballsy. Keep your head down. You an Ammo_Tech?...Not sure what the Air force calls them. My M.O.S isnt even combat related either yet we still get the shaft and put on patrol. lol
 
yeah its called AMMO in the airforce too, the bomb dump here is run by the army but we work most of the shops. The army guys deal mainly with the tank rounds and small arms stuff and we deal with the big shit ( missiles, bombs, rockets, flare, 20mm, 30mm etc)
 
Oh Ok..we got some guys over on Kadena Air Base that do that on the Marine Corps side. We also work with the Air force in shipping off cargo aswell. I should be on my way come sometime early next year

listen here fuck face...Are you even in the military? Oh ive definately done my time in "the sand box" and and seen shit that'll prolly make piss you yourself. And Im definately going back. While you sit at home wondering if you can fit in your bucket seat Im in Japan getting ready to attach to a unit thats heading to Afghanistan.

Yeah Kadena's bomb dump is fucking huge, I think its in the top 3 of the largest in the armed forces. I mean you can literally get lost in it, its like almost an 8th of the island itself.

the bomb dump at shaw I work in is one of the smallest lol we dont have shit.
