help choosing. SR/KA

i would say figure out why your going through injectors, and keep the ka

go to an event every now and then but baby it on the streets, so its not gonna crap out on you, and buy another KA for cheap, rebuild it in your spare time, and it will be ready for boost

meanwhile youl still have a KA in the car to get you where you need to go

thats my plan, and KA's arent expensive either, there just getting harder to find

sure. and i have a ls1.
so to get back ontopic lol anymore opinions?

just go with SR. they are some fairly cheap ones going around, on boost already(compared to KA) and easy swap. Just sell the KA and afford the swap. /thread
just don't waste anytime.

oh and don't listen to sketchy :p

bro ive had my sr for over a year now and my car is daily driven EVERY SINGLE DAY...ive gone from the keys to orlando and back almost 500miles in one day and never had a problem...ive barely had any problems mainly just a blown turbo gasket but its cuz i didnt replace it when i got the motor. i run on 9lbs with power steering and yes AIR CONDITIONING! :bigthumbui mean i dont baby the car but i dont beat the hell out of it and it still runs perfect. just take the time do it right and an sr will last you forever

like ive said before guy ka-t is gonna be reliable enough for what your expecting out of it, if you want like 250whp and a way better amount of torque compared to the sr go ka and call it a day.that shit is gonna be reliable az fuk i i know multiple people with ka-t`s no problems.

JoshuaS is a prime example of why SR is the way to go. He drove 15 hours to a drift event at Willow Springs, drifted the shit out the car, and then continued on to Naples. Then he drifted at Countyline, and nothing wrong yet. It's gonna cost about the same to swap in an SR as it will to turbo your KA, but the SR will outlast the KA.
