ok so heres the issue. drove from coconut creek to boynton and car barely made it. would give it gas and it would wanna die. would go to roughly to 4k and die down. then i dropped the idle as much as i could. car ran fine but would still hickup a bit. head back to coconit creek. maf is a little dirty so i clean it with some maf cleaner and then let it dry for about an hour. raised idle back to original spot. car runs better but still hickups. now heading up to royal palm. get off at southern blvd and i get near the fair grounds when the car wants to just completely die when you give it gas. i took off some sort of vacuum container that was on stock intake earlier this week and plugged the hole. so i replaced the container. car runs a bit better. head down fairgrounds road and make it to bjs off 441. decide to look at the car. raised the idle some, car ran better. so i leave and head down 441. get about halfway to the end off 441 when it starts up again. shut off car, turn on hazards, and just cruised on the far right side. do that almost to a complete stop. turn car on. BAM!! runs like new. i haul ass down the rest of 441 and get near my buddies house when it starts again. drop him off and replaced maf with a known good one. car works better idles at 3k. ok drop down to 700. backfires through intake. raise idle again. car runs great. start heading home. 10mins in car hickups. take off from a light, car doesnt move. shut car off then turn on, everything ok again. so i do this off on routine every time car wants to die till i get home in delray. can anyone help me figure this out.
ps. i have a front mount interfooler for mock up on the car for when i do my swap. took the bumper off to allow for more air in case something was getting heat soaked. but it really didnt help
