Marking Of Drift Cars At Events Not Coming Off

You guys need to come up with a solution of your own. The track is not responsible for your car anyway. You are lucky these guys are nice enough to try to come up with a solution to help all of you. Some other people would of told you to stop crying and STFU. In the end it is YOUR car and YOU need to protect YOUR investment. It is not the tracks responsibility to keep your car pretty, they are already doing enough to provide you a fun, safe, and secure environment to slide your car. They mark your car to aid in keeping track time evenly distributed among drivers as mentioned before. If the track has to spend any more money to help you guys out, it can possibly directly affect our prices upon entry and registration.

How about YOU buy painters tape, or a vynil patch and stick it to your OWN car and make it a designated spot primarily for marking purposes? Both are cheap and effective ways of protecting your paint...

Even if, they use the same paint to mark the numbers, won't make much of a difference...

listen, this thread is here to make suggestions on stuff like this so it wont happen again. I WILL PROTECT MY INVESTMENT, thats why this thread is in use to NOT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN. I have too much money invested in my car to let people like ur mentality to not give a shit. well I give a shit about my car. So all these people are asking for is of a more effective way to mark the cars. thats it. I know it was raining, so it wouldn't stay on the window, but then again, cars that are painted flat black or with no clear at all, its a little messed up to mark on parts that scratches when tried to rub off, and more money the driver has to spend to repaint the car. I like my car looking pretty when i drift, last thing i want is PERIOD BLOOD SPOTS ON MY REAR BUMPER, i dont have time nor money to keep repainted my shit. So, let everyone figure out an effective way to solve this problem. Thats all this thread is asking for.

My mentality? Like you care about my car? So WTF Are you saying? We ALL have money in our cars and we all want to protect our investments. IMO some people are speaking out expecting for others to make changes to help them, and have the work done for them. You act like I didn't even give an idea who else put up a list of pros and cons discussing all of the options? I didn't just throw an idea and see if it was a good one. I understand you getting upset about your car just how I would get upset about my car getting ruined/damaged. I was simply sayng I am NOT responsible for your car, the TRACK is not responsible for your car and the only person that should take care of their car is the OWNER. So in the end, IF there is NO SOLUTION MADE, YOU will STILL have to come up with your OWN solution to this problem, to protect YOUR car. Because I'm not the only one with "my mentality" because I know for sure that you don't fucking care about my car, just like anyone else. But they all have enough common sense to not fuck it up just like everyone else in this fucking world. So STFU and stop trying to look like you car about my investment in my vehicle and anyone elses. This whole thread was made to complain about MY car being damaged, then other smart people decided to try to come up with a solution as a whole. But in the end, it's all about protecting MY car... Don't you think?

In all seriousness now, we will have to come to an agreement that we could all find as an effective solution to this.

My vote goes to Getting some painters tape and masking off a section of the car to designate to marking. It is cheap, paper, paint will dry quicker and you can ealiy peel off the tape at the end of the day. You could even make like 3 layers if you really want to be serious about it, even though the paint will not bleed through. And the best way to make sure your care is covered is to get it yourself.

If not, you will seriously have to inquire with the event staff to see what else they can do. But I wouldn't expect them to make any costly changes...

a strip of blue painters tape on winshield and do the dots there it wont wash off in the rain if u do it on the tape

deez fools know not to do that shit to me. hahahaha. but i did see that happening and was like !?!?!?!?! shit.

get stickie dots, or like stars, or like anything that dosnt run in the rain, or make peeps buy a # stickie to put on the 1/4glass.

also kp... weres the footie son?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

srry im lazy i just got my camera back ill see if i can upload some tonight.

Exactly all these people wining about having to pay half the money to slide at countyline compared to any other track and ending up with some marks on your car bring something to prevent the red dots on your car or don't make some stupid ass thread. Pre-maddonas! Its a car its going to get beat the fuck up in the long run anyways so stop crying or buy yourself a 240.

gotta 240... we'd still be in the same thread.. im not bitching or wining guy! i just wanna see what ideas we can come up with for a better and cleaner way of marking these drift cars. thats all.. no gheyness, just mentioning a problem and seeing if anyone else has ideas to help overall and improve us as a community.... we are a community. start actting like it and stop bitching about ppl and there ideas.
~thank you

^^^ some people dont understand the whole meaning of this thread

theres problem, a problem is mention, then a solution is made for the problem and then problem SOLVED!!

easy as 1, 2, 3

you can always get those little circle stickers that SCCA up here users to say a car has been teched and just attach em to a side window or something

123....memo Noted!
i liked the painter tape on the top of the windshield idea. just please no bumpers.. i dont want my car looking like it has herpies.

Probably costs alot to make. If we made money off of these events then we would do that.

In Office Max/ Depot, Staples, Dollar Store, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Lowes, Home Depot have the small Neon Orange ones that people use for garage sales to place prices on items. Those are definitely cheaper than the ones you want to order and come off as easy. Just a thought.

Dangle doesn't care cause his shit has horrible paint and dents that are like 3 feet long and 1 foot deep :bigthumbu. Understand his point, but your growing some balls and sliding a 350z with good paint and the car cost a good amount also, so don't pay to much attention to the people with the stupid posts and just pay attention to the important posts.
