That's completely subjective. Personally I think Ron Paul would be a horrible choice for president and to me his supporters are like neo liberals in that they're convinced he is the only good presidential option, everybody else is complete garbage, & that everything he says is golden...they're completely sheep-like in nature. Like Clinton fans + a bit of activism thrown in to make sure death threats to non-supporters still exist. Blah blah blah back to the way things are supposed to be blah blah. Ridiculous. Sorry but many changes in the constitution and the organization of the government were made with just cause and for good reason. Times change, so should our government - keeping in line with the founding fathers' beliefs is what's difficult but taking everything they said verbatim just doesn't make sense anymore. Of course I agree that not all changes were for the good of our country, but many were. And I've been saying this long before it was cool for most republicans to agree with - I agree almost 100% w/ his monetary and fiscal policies. Its almost entirely why i registered republican to begin with and its the only thing that makes Ron Paul a "Republican." I don't think we should be doing away w/ the IRS and Federal taxes just yet, but an adjustment to the system would be refreshing.
