Yeah I know Im the only one who posts anything political on here but I saw this video and thought it was really awesome, For anyone out there who may still have doubts that Ron Paul can actually win the republican nomination.

The first 30 seconds are a little boring

ive been kinda lost on all thats going on but is he gona make it as the republican candidate? when are those results in?

i watched him on Meet The Press this morning. the ONLY candidate who makes ANY sense. I really hope he gets the nomination, finally a candidate who would actually change something!!!

well he has to win the primaries, Florida's primary isnt until mid january. to vote for him in the primaries you need to be a registered republican ( I know it sucks but you only have to change for a little while after words you can change back to what ever)

He needs to win the primaries to get into the main election which if he does he will easily defeat the democratic candidate, when people compare the two most people will vote for ron paul.

i love how all the "polls" show ron paul in a tie for last place, yet he has the record for largest amount raised in one day ($6 million). and somehow...america is ok with voting for gulliani, who dresses in drag, yet are scared of voting for paul because he wants to bring things back to how they should be, with us out of the affairs of other nations unless it involves us.

i really wish people would wake up and see how broken the system actually is

That's completely subjective. Personally I think Ron Paul would be a horrible choice for president and to me his supporters are like neo liberals in that they're convinced he is the only good presidential option, everybody else is complete garbage, & that everything he says is golden...they're completely sheep-like in nature. Like Clinton fans + a bit of activism thrown in to make sure death threats to non-supporters still exist. Blah blah blah back to the way things are supposed to be blah blah. Ridiculous. Sorry but many changes in the constitution and the organization of the government were made with just cause and for good reason. Times change, so should our government - keeping in line with the founding fathers' beliefs is what's difficult but taking everything they said verbatim just doesn't make sense anymore. Of course I agree that not all changes were for the good of our country, but many were. And I've been saying this long before it was cool for most republicans to agree with - I agree almost 100% w/ his monetary and fiscal policies. Its almost entirely why i registered republican to begin with and its the only thing that makes Ron Paul a "Republican." I don't think we should be doing away w/ the IRS and Federal taxes just yet, but an adjustment to the system would be refreshing.

I knew you would chime in on this, you die-hard republican, lol. I get what you mean by about his supporters, and unfortunately, i kind of agree as well. I really like Pauls opinions on foreign policy, as well as the IRS and Social Security. Only thing i really don't like is his stance on education, and even that isn't that bad. But would I not vote at all if he doesnt win the primary? of course not, i still like Obama. (Sorry Tony, I'm not a Republican by nature :p )

I'm not a die hard republican at all. Morally however, I could never vote democrat as long as abortion is looked at as a privilege. I know that to many abortion is simply the deletion of a fetus. But to me, a fetus is a baby. OK, it can't support itself to survive. But neither can an infant, toddler, or most small children. Should we start allowing mothers to off their children up to the age of 10 b/c they're inconvenienced? Personal responsibility should prevail over the idea that a baby (or fetus if you must) is an inconvenience.

Same goes for welfare and all that shit. America IS the land of opportunity to me. You reap what you sow. Free market. Ect ect. I am not for big government. I am for personal freedoms and liberty but I also believe that too much responsibility in the people leads to all kinds of troubles so there's another Ron Paul thing I don't buy. Anyway, i g2g to my grandma's for some dinner.

Merry xmas you crazy fanatics. ;)

if anything, he will do things a different way and thats not so bad.. maybe he fails at some things, but whatever were doing now isnt working either.. time to try something new instead of business as usual.. As for registering republican to vote in the primary's, you have to do it before Dec 30th or 31st I believe, and it doesn't matter your parties affiliation for the general election you can vote however you like there. but FL is a closed primary state meaning only republicans can vote for the republican party
