S2000s are the anti-drift cars. No lie, a company could not do any more (aside from making it fwd) to prevent a car from drifting than what Honda did with the S2000.

I dont see the point in having a drift car if the public cant go out and buy a close facsimile of the drift car. Imagine all the front wheel drive drifting that is going to occur when the scion owners try to emulate this one off.

lol fuck that my scion is for too and from work too and from play...im not fucking sliding that thing...not thanks im not making payments on a wreck...:ugh:

Joey from Wrecked Magazine guys. I wanted to shed some light on the Scion rumor we broke.

You guys are partially correct,

the rule states

"8.1.1.3 Cars must have been originally designed as either Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) or All Wheel Drive (AWD)."

For a car to to be eligible to compete in FD, the vehicle must come RWD or AWD as a factory option. Where some of you might be getting confused in thinking that certain manufacturers do not make a RWD or AWD driver version, you need only to look outside of of the US. The Scion tC is available in Japan with an AWD option.

Last time I checked, the Scion tC was built and sold exclusively for North America. Unless you're talking about the Toyota Avensis the car is based on.
