Wow, lots of feedback. Thanks for all of the ideas. I see that the $3,000 is a major focus. Those superchargers run 150-450 secondhand. I can get my hands on one for $250.00 so my build will cost around 2k, but money aside

What are your feelings on the instant boost (no boostlag) and torque increase. I know that low end torque is where you break traction for drifting. I've seen someone on here with a SC 2000 and I think a Mazda with a SC on it as well. I know the Mustangs love it. Has anyone out there driven or been in one of those supercharged cars what are your feelings on it?

where are you getting 15hp from?

a stock ka is rated at 160hp meaning after that power is sent through the tranny and driveshaft your really only getting like 130hp if your lucky. so with that said say you have a 130hp ka and you get 220hp out of it with a supercharger set up id say thats pretty good and definitely more than a 15hp increase

iam supercharging my wifes s13 doing most the fab work myself so that will save me alot of money and i also got a good deal on my eaton, just gunna throw some stock sr injectors in it and a walbro and prob a emanage

the car also has internals done so that will be a big plus but my setup shouldnt cost over 1500$

Have a very nice top mount setup

And possibly run a full stand alone and definetly put down twice the power that supercharger does.

let me know this secret cause I have a built top mount ka-t and I'm added it up and I'm at like 4400 w/o crazy head work
that all the work done by myself

I don't consider very nice having eBay parts cause nothing of eBay is worth a dam if you ask me maybe 5 lug Hubs that's about it

last time I knew mounts driveshaft and all the shit to make it work wasent acouple hundred bucks more like 4000 for a jz said and done to get it running
