Sean Love said:Um,......... he was kidding. The T50 is a pile of crap, it would never take torque of the UZ motor.
.
Damn str8, as a matter a fact I just saw my friends' mechanic's starlet today with a celica rear end, very nice indeed. Lock that thing up!!!Piner said:Damn right about that haha
I want to know what rear end that AE86 is useing, I dont want this swap to get more popular that means more people trying to steal my rear axel. Im about to lock that shit to the car

Why do you want to know so bad anyway?? I's not like anyone here knows the guy or what trans he has.
I will tell you this though, there isn't a bolt-on tranny for the UZ motors.
My well informed guess would be R154 though......
however there are 2 companies in Australia selling bellhousings to bolt the R series to a UZ block. Dellow adapters, and Castlemaine Rodshop.
Happy now?
Oh and last year I sold my friend in Tampa a 1UZ from SC400 to put in his ハチ ロク coupe.

BLADDER_MASTER said:Found a place where they offer W58 and R154 bellhousing adaptors for the 1UZ-FE. And it's no surprise the place is located in Australia:
