i would say you want to see atleast 10-15psi before firing the motor. Thats roughly what the oil press light requires. And why hook up a timing light? If it runs correct?
Yeah j disconnect the cas and crank the motor over a couple secs. Get a good oil press. Reading like moe said 15-20 psi will be good. For timing since its a distributorless ignition u need a timing light attachment. I've got one. Call me and I can swing by with it.
yes sir he is, hes just had bad luck with his own motors so he wants everything to be done correctly. The motors been sitting without oil for quite some time, so he wants to make sure its properly primed with oil before something goes bad when started.
