hmmm but how would it be doing that i used the same alternator from my old motor i dont get y it would over power it, i just finished swaping a 96 ka into my coupe but i ised all of my old s13 stuff the same way i had it befor so idk im still lost lol any other ideas to y its cooking?

So today thanks to ronch timing my car i got it started up when i finally terst drove it i had a minor problem......so i most likley misplaced this cable but when i turned the car off the cable i had placed to the alternator was frying sizzling cooking.......where else would this cable go if...

So i just finished droping in a 96 ka motor into my 92 coupe...everything is good to go i timed it following the diy. the motor turns over nicely like if it were going to start but it just keeps turnng over it doesnt want to start anyone have any ideas what i might be missing or doing wrong...

thanks when u say to the starter bolts just any of the ones that run through the tranny right?

hey guys one more thing, i asked this in another thread i went ahead and filled the tranny fluid with 2 quartes....now i filled it through the top where the shifter is, but when i filled it it still seemed pretty empty. is two enough or do i gotta see some volume in the shifter area. and one...

Any one know where these two grounds go. these grounds are by the alternator, one of them i had labeled befor i pulled it out as the starter ground. could i just ground it anywhere? the smaller one is the one pissing me off it doesnt fit anywhere. any ideas? and third.....this line comes...

yup s13 is ob1 and s14 is ob2. im dropping in a 96 kade and im using all of my s13 wiring. the plugs are also different

So im swaping my motor, everything is good to go but........as i put the manifold back together i have 4 random hoses that for some reason i did not label very well and do not know where they go too. i know the pictures suck but ill try describing where they are located and if you guys can...

if your going from obd1 to obd2 swap the manifolds over, i jus finished swapping a 96 in my 92 and im using everything obd1. the plugs on the s14 mani and s13 are both different
