you go to boot camp not knowing what your MOS will be, and depending on the MC needs by the time you are ready to get out of MCT, they pick a job for you... with the OAF coming up, there is a GOOD chance that the "needs" will be some kind of grunt

you won't have any binding contracts until boot camp. they won't process all your paperwork until then. u could tell them u rather wait to get your credits before you get DEP in.
